All for the community

The mission of the Fort Worth Chamber Foundation, Inc., a 501 C3 non-profit organization, is to raise, manage, and render financial support for key community initiatives, as identified through the Fort Worth Chamber's Strategic planning process
The Fort Worth Chamber Foundation was incorporated on January 22, 1982 to receive and administer funds used exclusively for public education, crime reduction, beautification, and strategic community planning. With a Foundation Board of Trustees made up of community business leaders, this foundation has participated in several community related projects.

Our Projects

ZBonz Dog Park
Chamber Foundation participation included selling engraved, personalized paver bricks that were used in a donor wall at ZBonz that supports a bronze dog sculpture. Individuals and foundations also made cash contributions for ZBonz's continued development. The Foundation purchased items or granted the funds to the City for the dog park.
Literacy Camp at Paschal High School
The Fort Worth Chamber Foundation and Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth teamed up to fund an 8-week summer literacy pilot program for 1st through 3rd graders held at Paschal High School. See Chamber Update story for more details.
USS Fort Worth
In 2010, the Foundation funded community awareness initiatives for the USS Fort Worth, a Freedom class littoral combat ship of the U.S. Navy, built by Lockheed Martin. Christened in Marinette, Wisconsin, on December 4 by U.S. Congresswoman Kay Granger, the ship is the first to be named after Fort Worth.
Heritage Trails
Twenty-six historical markers are placed around downtown to help preserve Fort Worth's colorful past. The last one installed was the Martin Luther King, Jr marker installed in 2018. The Foundation is currently working with the Brooks family on two new markers. Look back here for updates.
